After starting your email marketing campaign, you should send out information every month that your potential or current customers may want to know about. Potential customers want to learn more about your company and the reliability of its products - so testimonials and any awards or trustworthy articles about your company are going to help them feel more confident about hiring your firm.

What you put in your email newsletters does not have to be your products, but can also be related interests - if you are providing cabinets, have your topics be about choosing a contractor, or remodeling styles this year, or show an actual remodel from start to finish. Make sure your topic is engaging and the reader knows what to do to get in touch with you or to get more information.

However, be sure not to send your email out so often that everyone wants to reach for the unsubscribe button.

Do send it out when you have something valuable to say to the recipients - like a limited-time sale, new location, or special event. Always be clear on what you want the recipient to do once they receive your email.

It is always best to separate your list since repeat customers do not need to be convinced you are right company for them as much as they need to learn about your new products and specials. The more specific the list, the more specific your results.
